Business Finance Week 2022
Throughout the week of 7-11 November 2022, Let’s Do Business Finance are joining in with Business Finance Week 2022 - supporting the inaugural campaign from the British Business Bank.
During five days of nationwide and regional in-person events, webinars and more, Business Finance Week aims to help smaller businesses learn all about the different finance options available to them to support their individual needs, whether they’re just starting up, looking for investment, or trying to go green.
Each day of the week long campaign will be centred around a key theme, giving SMEs the opportunity to hear from experts in their field on a varied range of subjects.
As well as the events and social media takeover by the British Business Bank, Let’s Do Business Finance is joining in on all its channels too.
Let’s Do Business Finance, a Community Development Financial Institution, works closely with the British Business Bank to provide business finance packages ranging from Start Up Loans, Growth Loans to, more recently, loans under the Recovery Loan Scheme. Alongside finance facilities, Let’s Do Business Finance and its delivery arms including Backing Essex Business and Locate East Sussex, offer business support to organisations and entrepreneurs – whether in the form of 1-2-1 sessions with a business advisor to work on specific issues, or free events and workshops to build on their skills.
This November, Let’s Do Business Finance joins the Business Finance Week with a host of events and resources on offer to spread awareness about the financial options out there for SME’s, no matter what stage of growth their business is in. Let’s Do Business Finance will also be sharing daily content on all its social media channels, from helpful resources to success stories of start up and established businesses.

Monday 7th November: Funding your Start Up - Consultation Clinics
On Monday 7th November, the team at Let’s Do Business Finance and Backing Essex Business will be offering free virtual consultation clinic appointments to businesses across East Sussex, Kent and Essex to answer questions and discuss options for finance for start up businesses. BOOK HERE
Tuesday 8th November: Angel Investment
On Tuesday 8th November, Let’s Do Business Finance and our partners will be sharing information about Angel Investment – sharing what it is, how it works, and how an angel investor can help to take your business to the next level.
Wednesday 9th November: Equity for Growth – Consultation Clinics
On Wednesday 9th November, the team are running free virtual consultation clinics with businesses to help them learn about what equity investment is, and how they can attract the best investor for their business. BOOK HERE
Thursday 10th November: Debt for Business
On Thursday 10th November, the team are holding a free webinar with a range of speakers from accountants, business advisors and more to each discuss finance options for businesses that can utilise debt finance to help them reach their potential. The webinar, held online, will also allow businesses to ask questions to the panel of experts. BOOK HERE
Friday 11th November: Green Finance
With sustainability a key priority for smaller businesses, on Friday 11th November, Let’s Do Business Finance will be sharing resources and information about finance options available to support a business’ green ambitions. Alongside this, we’ll be sharing content on our social media platforms highlighting previous clients that Let’s Do Business Finance have worked with that utilised their finance options to reach their green goals.
