South East Angels: the winner of ‘Best New Business’ award at The Dynamic Business Awards 2023!
The ‘Best New Business’ award, at The Dynamic Business Awards 2023, was sponsored by Let’s Do Business Finance and was presented to Kristina Pereckaite, founder of Brighton-based ‘South East Angels’, who in a few short years has shown incredible promise and entrepreneurial spirit in her field.
After being created in 2022, the annual Dynamic Business Awards is hosted by Platinum Media Group – who, based in Brighton, publish the largest circulation business magazines in the UK including Platinum Business Magazine, Surrey Business Magazine and Dynamic Magazine, reaching over 720,000 readers each month. Platinum also host and produce some of the largest business award events in the South East, including the Sussex Business Awards, Surrey Business Awards, Central South Business Awards and the Brighton & Hove Business Awards.
The Dynamic Business Awards was created to bring highlight and celebrate the achievements of business women across all sectors in Sussex and Surrey, with several award categories opened each year to recognise the diverse accomplishments of women in business in the South East.

The ’Best New Business’ category, sponsored by Let’s Do Business Finance, is an award dedicated to recognising a businesswoman with entrepreneurial aptitude, vision and drive that has built a successful business from start-up in recent years. These businesses are ‘ones to watch’ and are expected to achieve great things, making a real difference to their sector in the future.
After receiving a number of entries for the 2023 Best New Business at this years Dynamic Business Awards, sponsor Let’s Do Business Finance assessed and interviewed each entrant. Recognising the challenges of the last several years and the incredible achievements of all the entries, it was a tough decision for the team to select a winner – but Kristina Pereckaite, founder of South East Angels, really stood out to the judges.

To the judges at Let’s Do Business Finance, Kristina’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for her business and sector shone through. Founded in 2020, South East Angels quickly garnered the support and backing of entrepreneurs and investors, and filled in the gap for what the local ecosystem for start-ups in Brighton really needed. Starting and growing the business in an area that was before unfamiliar to her, Kristina took this in her stride, and not only got the business off the ground, but showed great business and personal growth while doing so.
The ethos of South East Angels is helping others to grow and succeed – and from the portfolio of South East Angels, it is evident Kristina has done just that. Raising an impressive amount of investment from her group of angel investors for start-ups and small companies in the region, South East Angels has had an incredibly successful start from its founding in 2020, with a future looking all the more promising, with Kristina’s clear growth plans to continue developing the business.
At The Dynamic Business Awards ceremony at The Grand Hotel, Brighton on Thursday 25th May, Managing Director of Let’s Do Business Finance was delighted to present Kristina Pereckaite of South East Angels with her award.
